Like the rest of the country, rapper Q-Tip was outraged when he saw the video footage of Seattle’s Deputy Paul Schene assaulting an incarcerated 15-year-old girl inside her jail cell. Although Schene has been handed a misdemeanor assault charge, Q-Tip doesn’t want to wait for justice in the courtroom. Good thing he has a Twitter.
“That cop is a punk. I’m issuing a formal challenge to him. A three round boxing match. The proceeds can go to a charity of his choice in Seattle,” Q-Tip posted. I suppose the Twitter post didn’t get the wheels in motion quick enough, so Q-Tip posted again, “I’m serious. Can someone find out if this can be done?…Can someone investigate if that cld happen? I know it’s a long shot but who knows?”
