First Zooey, then Mandy, and now Meg?! The White Stripes’ Meg White is engaged to marry Jackson Smith, the son of legendary rocker Patti Smith and late MC5 guitarist Fred “Sonic” Smith. The Detroit News reports the couple plan to marry on May 22 in Nashville, TN, where White’s bandmate and former husband Jack White was also married and currently resides.
The Modern Age reports that Jackson Smith has been putting his legendary rock DNA to good use in Detroit-based band Back in Spades. According to the Detroit Free Press, Smith and White met last summer, were engaged a few weeks ago, and currently live together at Meg’s house in Detroit.
