Paul McCartney announced the “Good Evening Europe Tour 2009” on his official site, which kicks off in Hamburg, Germany (where the Beatles cut their teeth 49 years ago) this December. “This is my chance to bring our current show home to where it all began,” McCartney says. “Starting in Hamburg, ending in London and rocking everywhere in between. Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to the charge of attempted weapon possession in New York City today, which is reportedly part of a plea deal that will lead to a one-year prison sentence. As the AP reports, Lil Wayne, aka Dwayne Carter, would have received at least a 3.5-year prison sentence if he had been convicted of the original charge of illegal gun possession. Official sentencing isn’t until February of next year and Weezy will be out on bail until that time.
Weezer unveiled the first video from their upcoming album Raditude of the song “(If You’re Wondering If I Want You To) I Want You To.” The video is directed by Marc Webb (500 Days of Summer) and features a cameo by Odette Yustman (Cloverfield, October Road). Watch it here:
