Former Grandaddy frontman Jason Lytle and drummer Aaron Burtch have teamed up with Earlimart’s Aaron Espinoza and Ariana Murray to form a new band (that some in the press will probably label an “indie supergroup”) dubbed Admiral Radley. Details are scant at this time (hey, there’s a website and Twitter!), but we do have a few clues as to what’s to come from the fab foursome.
First off, Admiral Radley have booked at least three upcoming concerts: 3/17 at Dallas, Texas’ Granada Theater, 3/24 in Los Angeles, and the “Six Stages Over Texas” benefit concert in Austin, TX on Saturday, March 20th.
Live shows are one thing, but a studio album would really make this thing official. What say you, Admiral Radley’s official news feed?
We must admit… we don’t know what we’ll do when we find this Admiral Radley.
Probably just ask him what he’s been up to.
Probably ask him about the adventures he’s been on.
Probably feel stupid about asking him so many questions.
Then…..We’ll play him songs from the album we made.
Okay, that’s all I needed to hear. Now I can buy the t-shirt.
