He’s been keeping busy co-penning tunes for Melanie Laurent’s debut LP, contributing to a documentary about Tibet, and recording a few charity one-offs, but the whereabouts of Damien Rice’s follow-up to his 2006 sophomore effort are still a mystery. Fortunately, Rice has previewed a number of trademark break-up songs in various live settings of late, including the heartfelt take above in Dublin. Perhaps — and hopefully — an album reflecting on his split with Lisa Hannigan is on the way.
