La Blogothèque stopped by the New York City apartment of Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore for the latest installment of “A Take Away Show,” in which Moore took on three acoustic songs from his new album, Demolished Thoughts. You can watch “Benediction” and “Blood Never Lies” performed in his bedroom and on a window sill above, while a take on “Circulation” in the kitchen is below. Included in the clips are stories of Thurston’s early days moving to New York, including a nice bit about Joey Ramone pointing him in the direction of CBGB back in the day.
