Another cut from benefit compilation Live From Nowhere Near You just hit the web in the form of “Shine Through the Dark,” a previously unreleased track by Ryan Adams that was recorded “post-meltdown, while lying in bed with the flu.” According to Under the Radar — where the song premiered today — Adams called it “the first track I wrote after my retirement.” Intriguingly, a glimpse at the original lyric sheet first appeared in March, when Adams shared a collection of photos from studio sessions for his forthcoming album.
