Video: Villagers – “Memoir” (Live on Ceol Ar An Imeall)

Villagers’ Conor O’Brien lent this new original song to Charlotte Gainsbourg recently by co-producing the A-side to her latest single, but it’s looking like the Dublin singer-songwriter’s version might show up on the follow-up to his promising debut LP, Becoming a Jackal, said to be on the way. In addition to other new tunes, such as “Beatitudes,” O’Brien has been performing the catchy folk-pop number on tour this year. Check out his intimate take for Ceol Ar An Imeall above.
