After a spell spent weeding out copyright issues, Lana Del Rey’s official “Video Games” video returns with a bit of a makeover. It’s fitting that this single, which is excellent and completely worthy of the hype, would get a reboot given the unusual stop-start launch of debut material from Del Rey, aka Lizzy Grant, whose first record half-mysteriously vanished upon release last year, only to reappear in the form of cryptic YouTube clips this summer. “Video Games” arrives as a 7” picture disc, backed by new tune “Blue Jeans,” on October 10 via Stranger Records.
