Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince have claimed the best known Fleetwood Mac single for Just Tell Me That You Want Me, the new tribute LP containing at least a few essential cuts to date. The Kills do what they do best here with “Dreams” — from Hotel’s favorite dirty, tremolo-diced guitar tone to VV’s smoky croon. They pulled the groove out from under the original, shifting its shadows and empty space into the foreground. You can’t dance to this one, but yeah, it really moves. Hear their take above.
