A.C. Newman shared the opening track along with details for his forthcoming solo record, Shut Down the Streets, tonight, breaking out some familiar tambourine-accented percussion and filling up the cut with harmonies that just might come courtesy of New Pornographers bandmate Neko Case. “I’m Not Talking” is the tune, and it’s a gem of fine, genre-blended craftsmanship. Melodic hooks abound, too. Give it a spin above.
