Another Elliott Smith recording was culled from the vaults today in celebration of his birthday week. Following his alternate-lyric take on “Alameda” and piano/harmonica arrangement of “Needle in the Hay” comes Either/Or‘s “Punch and Judy,” put to tape twice as fast as the original with more hi-hat work than you’ll spot on other Smith drumming efforts.
