Producer/6th Radiohead member Nigel Godrich’s From The Basement series premiered its new season last week with an episode of performances by the Shins, Aimee Mann, and Josh Tillman as Father John Misty. Given the excellent quality of past Godrich-helmed clips, the latest addition is notable in its own right, but what’s more, this show features another premiere: new Mann songs “Living a Lie” and the title track off her forthcoming Charmer LP.
