Neil Young & Crazy Horse return on October 30th with their second LP of the year, Psychedelic Pill, but first comes a four-and-a-half-minute radio edit of the LP’s epic closing track, “Walk Like a Giant.” Even in truncated form, it’s soon clear another classic Crazy Horse record is on the way here, complete with a borderline “Like A Hurricane”-style chorus and Young’s inimitably unhinged guitar work. Starting at 3:45, what will become a dozen more minutes of fuzzed-out guitar and feedback soloing takes flight before it fades out all too soon.
