Without any ado, here’s a pair of longtime 24B faves — Angel Olsen and Marissa Nadler, from Chicago and Boston, respectively — covering Mickey Newbury. Their previous collaboration was a take on the great Richard and Linda Thompson’s “My Dreams Have Withered and Died.” According to Nadler last fall, “Angel Olsen and I have been working on some cover songs which I’m very excited about.” Here’s hoping more are on the way.
