Mazzy Star return on September 24th to release their long-awaited fourth LP, following up 1996’s Among My Swan with the self-produced Seasons of Your Day. Included in the 10-track set are “Common Burn” — a previously released single Hope Sandoval and David Roback put out in 2011 to celebrate the duo’s recent reformation — and today’s lovely acoustic track. As Spin reports, guests include My Bloody Valentine drummer Colm Ó Cíosóig and the late, great Bert Jansch. Can’t wait to hear more, but for now, soak in the hushed, mellow beauty of “California” above.
