Zachary Cale is a singer-songwriter originally from Enon, Louisiana with a new album called Blue Rider due on September 24th. It’ll be Cale’s fourth full-length since 2005, and though he’s new to me, color us impressed/onboard in light of these two beautifully recorded folk tunes. “Wayward Son” — a cut that rows steadfast against an acoustic thrum, touch of brushed drums, and compelling lead vox — is above while “Hold Fast” weathers similar waters below:
