It’s been nearly a year since Beck announced that the next studio LP would draw on his acoustic side, and now — with a month left to go before Morning Phase — comes a promising first taste. Watch the clip above, in which a 1:43 portion of album cut “Blue Moon” soundtracks footage from the vinyl pressing plant. Complete with memorable, wistful melodies and an arrangement laced with subtly surprising rhythmic turns, this glimpse is shaping up quite beautifully.
