A trio of love-themed covers surfaced in the days preceding 2014: Beck’s John Lennon throwback noted yesterday, Blue Velvet‘s Shelley Fabares song “Love Letters” from Spoon’s Britt Daniel, and My Brightest Diamond closing out the year with the romantic centerpiece of Time Out of Mind, “Make You Feel You Feel My Love.” Solo-electric, Jeff Buckley-style, left bare and haunting, Shara Worden’s take on Dylan welcomes the new year home with an optimistic gleam.
