(500) Days of Weezy narrowly escaped being the very first mashup post around here, but this outlaw-country-meets-gangsta-rap mashup of Johnny Cash’s “Folsom Prison Blues” with Eazy-E’s “Luv 4 Dem Gangsta’z” won’t be slipping below our radar. Snoop may have called Cash a “real American gangster,” but this virtually seamless pairing makes for a more fitting tribute to the Man in Black, I’d say. For one, when was the last time you bopped your head to twang guitar riffs on the off-beats?
