Listen: Owen – “No Place Like Home”

Mike Kinsella shared a second taste of Owen’s forthcoming Ghost Town LP recently, following up last month’s spiritual ruminations in “I Believe” with “No Place Like Home,” a gorgeous, xylophone-laced tune that makes a poignant case for leaving the past behind. Owen’s music has always felt steeped in nostalgia to me, but this one offers a refreshing take on that kind of introspection: “We don’t need to see ourselves as we are now,” he sings, “to remember where we came from.”

Ghost Town can be pre-ordered ahead of its November 8 release here.
