Bruce Springsteen announced the release of an epic 6-disc CD/DVD Darkness on the Edge of Town reissue box set today, which includes a remastered version of the 1978 record, full-length documentary, The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town, live footage/audio, songwriting notebook facsimiles, and (drumroll, please) 21 previously unreleased songs.
