Not sure if this is some kind of Disney way of settling a beef or not, but Miley Cyrus’ recent Radiohead bashing (saying she would “ruin” them for not visiting her dressing room at the Grammys, etc) was resurrected in a recent episode of Hannah Montana… sort of.
In this clip from the episode, Miley as Hannah Montana dresses up as her two friends to show them a more civil way of arguing over their favorite bands. Calling it a “debate” is a bit much, I’ll admit, because they don’t even bother discussing a single musical element of the two bands. “You honestly think Radiohead is better than Coldplay?” Miley says as one character. Her other character then responds, “Well if you like Coldplay so much maybe, they should be your girlfriend!” Wow, she’s a regular Peter Sellers! Sorry, I know that was blasphemous. There’s more in the clip, but there’s only so much of that show I can stomach.
This isn’t really news, obviously, but Thom Yorke is probably too busy reading about the oil industry to TiVo his favorite television shows, so I stepped in. Got your back, Thom!
