Our first taste of Neil Young’s new Daniel Lanois-produced album, Le Noise, debuted at Stereogum today in the form of this black and white video for the LP’s fifth cut, “Angry World.” Filmed by Adam CK Vollick in Lanois’ LA manse, the clip portrays the tune’s combination of live-cut, unpolished vocals/guitar and experimental sonics well by interspersing raw footage of Young recording the actual track with various otherworldly effects and scenery. Still processing the song as a whole, but in the meantime, I could (and just might!) listen to Neil play gritty guitar riffs all day. **Update (via Speakers in Code): NPR is streaming “Walk With Me.”
