On December 6, Patrick Wolf will release “Time of My Life,” the first single off his forthcoming fifth album (formerly titled The Conqueror), with a cover of Leonard Cohen’s “Anthem” as the B-side to limited 7-inch vinyl copies. This morning, however, Wolf uploaded the single to stream, complete with “a little lyric video for youtube made in my kitchen.” As for LP5, due in May of next year, Wolf says:
The new album has a direct narrative about love and optimism surviving through adversity and recession. I wanted to celebrate the love and hope I have found in the last few years.
