One week ago today, Ryan Adams returned to the stage for his first public musical performance in over a year, previewing 3 new songs and an old favorite for charity in LA. And now comes news that his next release is on the way shortly, as well as “future live dates.” Available now on the brand new PAX•AM Records website are a slew of details about the forthcoming Cardinals III/IV double LP, a 21-track collection recorded during 2007’s Easy Tiger sessions.
Originally hidden away in the vault while the band hit the road to support Easy Tiger, and now for the first time here in its entirety is the Cardinals second double-album concept rock opera about the 80′s, ninjas, cigarettes, sex, and pizza.
