In promotion of her new collaborative LP, …Featuring, Norah Jones uploaded a set of short Webisodes recently, in which she reminisces on her work with the 18-track album’s many guest stars. While most of the clips are fairly standard promo stuff, Ryan Adams himself shows up for a more candid discussion of their 2005 duet “Dear John.” Perhaps this is only because I’m a fan, but hearing Adams describe the songwriting process never gets old. To wit: “I feel like Norah… she’s, like, watching clouds, and for her the song is done when it all comes together and it’s just a big storm. And for me, like, it’s all weather.”
