New Moon Soundtrack Title Track by The Used, w/ Ex-NIN Danny Lohner

We’ve already heard Death Cab For Cutie’s “Meet Me On The Equinox,” the first single off the surprisingly interesting New Moon soundtrack, but we’re still waiting on Thom Yorke or Bon Iver’s highly buzzed-about contributions. Meanwhile, The Used front man Bert McKracken has revealed some details about his band’s song for the film that are quite interesting.

Take 40 reports that The Used’s new track “For You I would,” produced by Danny Lohner, is set to be the title track on the soundtrack. “We did it with Danny Lohner, ex-Nine Inch Nails,” McKracken said. “He’s great to work with. He’s so laid back. You know, like, sometimes I’d go up to his house and didn’t really feel like working so we’d chill out and we’d have a bunch of beers and smoke some pot and then I would feel like working so he’d be right on it and we’d get a bunch of shit done.”
