Truth be told, I’m torn on this new Noah and the Whale single. On one hand, it’s a great, hook-laden pop song, but on the other hand, it might borrow a bit much from Tom Petty’s “Don’t Come Around Here No More” in the arrangement and chorus melody perhaps. Either way, we’re stilling spinning “Wild Thing” around here, “L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N.“‘s Petty homage will be stuck in my head all week, and Last Night On Earth is shaping up nicely.
