We’ve waited 5 long years for another Strokes album and now the date is set: Bassist Nikolai Fraiture confirmed a recent unofficial report that their fourth LP will arrive in the U.S. on March 22 via RCA. Here’s a screenshot from his Facebook page, where he responded to a fan inquiring about the 3/22 drop date and single set for February:
As previously reported, the yet-untitled effort features 10 songs recorded in New York’s Catskill Mountains. Fraiture recently said on Zane Lowe’s BBC radio show, “Sonically, I feel it’s the album which should have been made between Room On Fire and First Impressions Of Earth.”
