Over the weekend, the National and our favorite one-time wedding band shared the bill for an episode of Austin City Limits on PBS, performing short sets of older and new material for those of us nursing a cold at home on Saturday night. While we’ve certainly seen our fair share of pro-shot live takes on High Violet songs before, highlights from the broadcast included a short chat with the National about their sense of humor and, of course, a half-dozen comforting BoH tunes.
