After a long day of hints, tweets, and album title rumors floating about, Joanna Newsom’s third album has been confirmed by her Australian record label, Spunk (via CoS):
Today, Spunk is thrilled to announce the forthcoming Joanna Newsom album ‘Have One On Me’, due for release February 19. This is Joanna’s third full length album and is a sophisticated and enchanting collection of work from this unparalleled talent.
The release date for those of us on the other side of the world is February 23.
Now all I want to know is if those Jim O’Rourke rumors we started will turn out to be true.
