Before Wilco set out on a tour that will span much of the globe, including Canada, the U.S., Australia, Europe, Japan, and the Olympic Winter Games, Jeff Tweedy and company stopped by Craig Ferguson’s Late Late Show on CBS to play a cut from last year’s Wilco (The Album).
I was a bit suprised to see they chose “One Wing” (that song always seemed like it would fit better on their previous record, Sky Blue Sky, to me), but they killed the performance (as these guys are wont to do), not to mention a Nels Cline guitar freakout is a much better antidote to drowsiness than coffee in the morning. Seriously, I’m very awake now, Nels.
