Camera Obscura, Beck, & More on Haiti Benefit Album: Hear to Help

Filter Magazine and American Eagle have assembled an impressive lineup of artists for a new benefit album called Hear to Help, which seeks to raise funds for Oxfam America’s Haitian relief effort. According to a press release (via CoS), all 938 U.S. and Canadian American Eagle Outfitters stores will carry the $10 compilation starting today until March 19.

Almost every track on the record is either rare or previously unreleased, including Camera Obscura’s “The World is Full of Strangers,” which was previously available only via 7” single, Julian Casablancas’ Phrazes for the Young B-side “Long Island Blues,” an acoustic version of Beck’s “Volcano,” Snow Patrol’s cover of Bright Eyes’ “You Will. You? Will. You? Will. You? Will,” Of Montreal covering Franz Ferdinand’s hit single “Take Me Out,” and many more.
