Forgive me if this is the 50th time you’ve heard about Janelle Monáe’s new video for The ArchAndroid single “Tightrope (feat. Big Boi)” today, but I’d be remiss in not pointing to director Wendy Morgan’s solid work here. Though many have already heard this funky song, as it dropped earlier this year, the new slickly-produced video is sure to make it one of the biggest jams of the summer, not to mention some of those signature “Tightrope” dance moves might catch on.
Excluding Big Boi’s unfortunately-dated verse, I haven’t heard a timeless pop song like this in quite some time. Watch it here or below:
