Between Wye Oak tours with drummer Andy Stack recently, frontwoman Jenn Wasner quickly penned five songs ahead of a solo house show. Billed as a self-described “vanity project” dubbed Flock of Dimes, the result includes her “first attempts at drum programming” and compositions “in one particular guitar tuning that I’m not really comfortable in,” she told Bmore Musically Informed.
