Laura Marling’s Ethan Johns-produced second album, I Speak Because I Can, has been on repeat here in Berkeley ever since a kind reader from the U.K. sent in a copy last week (the record is due out stateside on April 6th). It’s our pleasure, therefore, to bring you the second music video from her new record…
Before Christmas of last year, we streamed (and loved) her pseudo-single, “Goodbye England (Covered in Snow),” followed by a video for the first official album single, “Devil’s Spoke.” Now we have “Rambling Man,” the third track off I Speak Because I Can, featuring another video shot along the coastline. This time, however, an older (rambling?) gentleman goes for a swim in what looks to be freezing cold water. Marling sings from the beach, however, trying to make a livin’ and doing the best she can donning what looks to be a fur coat. Watch it here or below:
