We started out the year with news of Ben Gibbard and Zooey Deschanel’s engagement and now another acting/singing couple have decided to walk down the aisle: Ryan Adams and Mandy Moore are engaged.
A representative for Mandy Moore confirmed the news to E! News that Moore and her boyfriend since December of last year (they had also dated for about 6 months earlier in 2007) singer/songwriter Ryan Adams plan to marry. Mandy Moore herself also confirmed the news to Perez Hilton.
Earlier today, rumors about the couple’s engagement swirled when a supposed friend of Moore’s told Life & Style that Moore “is so excited about their engagement but admits it’s been a whirwind. She’s really happy.” Moore was also reportedly seen wearing an engagement ring.
