London-based twee-pop outfit Allo Darlin’ are releasing their first new recording since last year’s wonderful debut LP, bulking up their sound a bit with bass guitar bouncing front-and-center for an homage to underrated indie veteran Darren Hayman. Though it won’t arrive until August as a limited 7” picture disc dubbed “Darren,” you can hear the A-side above (via Rawkblog) and pre-order their latest ever-endearing number, backed by a cover of Hayman’s own “Wu Tang Clan,” here.
