While we wait for a follow-up to Frightened Rabbit’s third LP, The Winter of Mixed Drinks, Scott Hutchison & co. have unveiled a taste of new material while on tour with Atlantic Records label-mates Death Cab for Cutie in the form of a new self-titled EP. The 3-track set, which features guest vocals by Camera Obscura’s Tracyanne Campbell and folk legend Archie Fisher alongside a studio take of recent live favorite “Scottish Wind,” is only available at the merch table as of now, but Listen Before You Buy posted a preview from the limited release this morning that makes a great case for getting out to a show for an official copy.
