Adele Covers The SteelDrivers, Performs “Someone Like You”

Adele might not be as unpredictable or transparently troubled as Amy Winehouse (thankfully), but there’s no question that she has equally stunning vocal chops and every bit of soul as her English chart-topping counterpart. If “Rolling in the Deep” — our first taste of her new Rick Rubin-co-produced LP, 21 — didn’t offer enough proof to that end, enter “Someone Like You,” a new piano-backed ballad directed at an ex-lover.
