The Internal Revenue Service has thwarted Echo & the Bunnymen’s invasion of the United States before they even ventured beyond the West Coast. Despite having played two successful shows, including performances of Ocean Rain in its entirety in Los Angeles and Oakland, CA, November dates have gotten the axe (until next year at least). Only a month after the death of ex-keyboardist Jake Drake-Brockman, Echo & the Bunnymen are prepping upcoming, Chris Martin-assisted, The Fountain by joining the likes of Vampire Weekend and, well, everybody and putting out the first single for free.
