Bob Dylan and Eurythmics co-leader Dave Stewart have worked together on and off a number of times over the years, most notably during the mid-’80s, when Dylan joined Stewart in the studio to record an album that never saw an official release. Now one of their past collaborations, a tune they wrote together called “Worth the Waiting For,” will finally reach our ears via Stewart’s forthcoming solo LP, The Blackbird Diaries.

Eurythmics singer Annie Lennox and Mick Jagger’s ex-wife Bianca Jagger were part of a massive protest in London today over the Israeli military attacks on the Gaza region.

Over 12,000 people marched in Trafalgar Square while Lennox led a subset of the protest in which shoes were thrown at the gates of Downing Street amid shouts of “Shame on you, have my shoe.”

In a press conference on Friday, Lennox explained her decision to speak out, saying “I was thinking, as a mother and as a human being, how was this going to be a solution to peace?” Activist Bianca Jagger called on U.S. President-elect Barack Obama to condemn the Israeli air strikes.

Dave Stewart, the “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)” songwriter from the Eurythmics, really wants to move you with his new single, “Let’s Do It Again.” He’s releasing the song in the form of a £1,000 diamond-studded vibrator with attached lyrics, a guitar pick, and free digital download code.

The Little Steel Tonight vibrator is made of solid steel, a satin finish and a band of 28 diamonds. It “comes with a leather cord threaded through the cap so it can be worn around the neck and taken out on the town. Also on the strap is a custom guitar pick – just in case a serenade or a solo is in order.”

Stewart, a 56-year-old father of four, has a whole line of rock-inspired vibrators called Rock Fabulous. A representative from the adults only firm that runs Stewart’s line said his new song/sex toy promotion is “the ultimate backstage pass. Our vibrators are the world’s quietest — all the better to enjoy the music.”

In other news, Pornstar killed the video star.

The Little Steel Tonight is not available on iTunes, but you can buy it or read the hilarious product description here.
