Eat your heart out, Pete Wentz. GACTV.com reports Willie Nelson’s producer for his upcoming album Mickey Raphael told Rolling Stone, “For the album cover, Willie took a picture of himself with his iPhone while he was in the bubble bath and sent it to me.”
The album will be a collection of Nelson’s 1960’s recordings, stripped of strings and other adornments, a la The Beatles’ Let It Be… Naked.
Nelson’s iPhone isn’t the only gadget he uses to stay modern and to keep active; he’s also a fan of the Nintendo Wii, playing Wii’s Brunswick Pro Bowling with his two teenage sons and bandmates. “I’ve heard that lots of senior-citizens centers are getting Wiis, because it really does work,” Nelson said.
Somebody take that iPhone away from Bea Arthur quick.
