Canadian rapper Drake revealed to MusicMusic (via AngryApe) he collaborated on a track for an untitled Lil Wayne rock album to be released possibly later this year. Drake likened the project to Kanye West’s switching of gears with last year’s autotuned breakup record, 808s and Heartbreak.
“Wayne’s coming out with a new album, it’s a rock album. A complete rock album. I have a song on there. It’s something different, just like 808s and Heartbreak, just throwing individuals off,” Drake said.
