While flying to Los Angeles for an appearance on “Last Call With Carson Daly,” up-and-coming rapper Asher Roth’s guitarist, Chris Llewellyn, subdued a man who announced he had a bomb and “lunged for one of the doors” while the plane was landing at LAX.
MTV reports that the man was detained by FBI agents and the Los Angeles airport police, while Roth rushed to make his call time for his television appearance.
Roth, 23, gained a lot of buzz last year for being called “the next Eminem.” He performed an impromtu rap auditioning for Jay-Z and signed to Universal Records after a major label bidding war.
