A song written by Joby Harte and Russell Brand for their radio show has gotten so much attention from record labels, that the British comedy team has signed with Simon Cowell’s Syco Records and are releasing it as a single.
Gigwise reports (via The Sun) “The Chugga Chugga Song,” as it’s currently called, will likely be re-recorded if Brand “can find the time to record it. It’s really cheesy and has a dance routine to go with it.” Russell Brand is busy reprising his role of musician Aldous Snow in Forgetting Sarah Marshall for a future Apatow-produced spin-off.
