Axl Rose has said, in rather unequivocal terms, there’s no hope for a Guns N’ Roses reunion, calling former bandmate Slash a “cancer.”
“In a nutshell, personally I consider him a cancer and better removed, avoided — and the less anyone heard of him or his supporters the better,” Rose said, calling Slash “a whore for the limelight.”
While Rose saves his vitriol for Slash, he seems to have no qualms about collaborating with Duff McKagan, but seems less than enthused about working with Stephen Adler, who has battled addiction, or Izzy Stradlin, whom Yahoo! News described as not “reliable.”
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, GNR fans, but it seems your hopes of a reunion are dashed.
