Paul McCartney Rejects Paris Hilton Duet

Paris Hilton courted some of the biggest names in music for her debut album Paris, such as Scott Storch, Fat Joe, Jadakiss, and the new American Idol judge/hit songwriter Kara DioGuardi. She won’t be adding Paul McCartney to a list of guest stars for her next album though.

The Sun reports that Hilton approached McCartney at a music industry event in Los Angeles recently and said, “I’d love to do a duet with you. I’m a singer too and have had an album out.”

A source nearby said the former Beatle “looked bemused, smiled and nodded — then stumbled out that he’d have to check his schedule.”

It is likely that Paris Hilton didn’t think McCartney, who is one of the most successful musicians of all time, would really be interested in collaboration. He has done duets with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, and of course John Lennon.

Before parting, Paris told Paul she liked his hair, saying, “It’s just like in The Beatles. It’s so cute.”
