No band has ever played all five weeknights on the Late Show with David Letterman until now: U2 will play Letterman from Monday, March 2 through Friday, March 6, promoting their album that is released that same week, No Line on the Horizon.
Conan O’Brien has notoriously had a few bands perform on every episode for an entire week, such as The Strokes and the White Stripes in 2003. As TwentyFourBit reported yesterday, the White Stripes are returning for Conan’s farewell episode of Late Night, on February 20th.
